I love the life and relationships I've established in Montreal but unfortunately my two year visa has expired, and my time here is coming to a close. The options I am left with include going back to Australia--which, for a variety of reasons, is absolutely not what I want--or to try and pursue a life in the United States. After much deliberation I have decided the right move for me is to apply for an artist visa in the US. This is where my publishers are, the opportunities that will allow me to live securely and finance my life as an artist, and where my partner is living. Though it is heartbreaking to leave life in Montreal behind, this is the right decision for me, and am moving forward with the long logistical process.

The legal process is long, grueling, and incredibly expensive. Asking for financial assistance is incredibly hard, but I will need any help my community and friends can give if I want to achieve this goal. 

To try and even remotely express my gratitude I have made a variety of 'rewards' for various different tiers of donations. below are some of the rewards for donating.
