Help Tommy Ward
Spende geschützt
Former soldier Tommy Ward was left for dead with a fractured skull, broken ribs and a smashed jaw as thieves fled with his life savings.
80-year-old Tommy lost £30,000 after being beaten to a pulp in his own home in from Maltby, South Yorkshire.
His devastated family have released shocking pictures of his injuries, pleading: “Please help nail the monsters who did this to our dad.”
And now a crowd-funding campaign has been launched to help get Tommy back on his feet.
All money donated will go directly to Tommy's family -and will particularly be used to help him with the care he will need after his 'life-changing' injuries.
If you have information that could help in the investigation, call 101 quoting incident No. 408.
The campaign was launched by the Sunday Mirror and Sunday People newspapers on behalf of the family.
But many media organisations have since kindly linked to this fundraising page, including the Rotherham Advertiser, Sheffield Star , Daily Mail, and Independent.
