Neuro-Rehab Breakthrough for Stroke Survivors

Donation protected
We have a solution that can significantly improve stroke survivor outcomes and we need your help to get it to market!

Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the United States and there are almost 700,000 new stroke survivors each year who will begin the long struggle in neurorehabilitation. Some estimates put the total number of survivors in the US at over 6.5 million yet when it comes to successful recoveries the statistics are disheartening. Only about 10% of these achieve what is considered a “near complete” recovery, 25% have a partial recovery that allows them to lead an independent lifestyle while about 55% are left with lives requiring substantial assistance.

Your donations will be used to finish some key development milestones that will allow us to start internal trials of the platform. This in turn will lead to us attracting traditional investors so we can go to market. You see, when it comes to very early stage investments there is a ton of risk, so naturally those investors expect at least a 100X return on their investment. These types of massively successful companies that are valued in billions are called unicorns. Our target market size is too small to be seen as a potential unicorn, so attracting those kinds of investors is almost impossible. Instead, we need to be far enough along in the development process where we can provide proof of the system’s effectiveness. This data along with a handful of initial orders will be enough risk reduction to attract the seed investors we need.

This is a long video of me taking a ride on the prototype showing off how immersive the experience has already been developed.

The reason our platform will have such an important impact for neurorehabilitation in stroke recovery is our implementation of intense, deeply immersion to enhance neuroplasticity. The most important factor that affects a patient’s recovery outcome is called “neuroplasticity”, a term used to describe how the brain re-maps functions in the brain from the damaged sections to healthy areas. There have been years of clinical studies that support using VR headsets to significantly improve outcomes. The conclusion is that the more immersive the experience, the more effective the treatment. By any measure, our platform excels at providing the deepest level of immersion possible.

Deploying our platform will significantly improve the recovery outcomes of stroke survivors, allowing for a much higher percentage of them to lead fulfilling, independent lifestyles. This is not only an enormous improvement for the survivors, but also relieves the immense burden on caregivers and reduces pressure on limited healthcare budgets.

Let’s make this happen! We are already close to having a prototype that stroke survivors can start using in our trials. Your generous donations will provide the support we need.
