Hi I am David Cameron, Regional Development Head Coach at Totem.
We are passionate about reaching isolated regional areas, as we grew up in rural NSW and know how important it is to be doing something that’s positive and physically good for you. By giving kids in these remote communities new skills and ways in which they can engage with their community.
Totem is a skateboarding events company based in Sydney, Australia that run community skateboarding workshops, classes and events throughout NSW.
Skateboarding to us is amazing and has so many different facets that you can learn from and engage with young people through. Thus our motto Skate, Create, Empower.
Our aim for ‘The Great Australia Skate Tour’ is to be reaching more towns throughout all states and territories of Australia offering classes and workshops like introduction to skateboarding and art stencil workshops.
We would love to be able to supply free skateboards and helmets to the kids who participate in the workshops that do not have access to them in one way or another. As well as being able to reach even more of these communities we need your help in the way of donations.
