Operation Jake-Cycle for Solutions

Shannon and Ron came up with a project and mission called BeesWELL. BeesWELL Inc creates personal stove and survival kits made for homeless and veteran outreach agencies as a tool used to open dialogue and develop trust with individuals in need and to raise awareness about PTSD within our community.
BeesWELL’s initiative is founded on common knowledge through news, statistics, and day-to-day discussions of the obstacles our veterans are facing. Too many families and friends have experienced the effects of PTSD on a first-hand basis. Unfortunately with the passing of a dear friend, Jacob S. Thomas, veteran of the 173 Airborne Brigade, these effects hit-home too.
We want to take our mission to another level. In order to create an ample way to help our veterans, we must wholly understand the hardships our veterans are facing, and where support is lacking. BeesWELL (Shannon and Ron) are bicycling down the east coast, New York to Key West, seeking out veterans to speak with, listen to, and document their stories. In memory of Jacob, starting mid July, we will take on “Operation Jake”. There is not only one solution to the complexities of PTSD, but there are gaps that can be filled. We aim to bring some valuable, comprehensive information back home, so that when our vets come home we can give them the same protection and service that they have given our country.
We need funding to train, travel, and record. Please support Operation Jake - Cycle for Solutions This journey will be over 2,000 miles. Your pledge of just 10 cents per mile will get us to our goal of $100,000.
