Tragedy to Triumph

I am Theresa Nearly former foster parent for children at the center of one of the most horrific abuse cases Texas has ever seen. Allen and LaKenya Shaw are now friends of ours who have been married 17 years. In 2016, LaKenya experienced a miscarrage although her heart ached longing for a child her faith in God did not allow her to give up the hopes of having their family. In 2016 while fostering the babies I felt led to speak with LaKenya about the children's need for a forever home not knowing about her and Allen's desire for a family. This turned out to be a prayer answered. With tears flowing from her face she responded these babies were purposed for us. After two long years the adoption was consimated on May 31, 2018. The Shaw's have now out grown their small starter home, this fund will aid as they search for a new forever home for their family. There has been an overwhelming show of support for this story many of you have asked what you can do to contribute I believe this Avenue would be a dream come true and a great blessing. God bless you and thank you in advance.
