Tragic Holiday Accident
Donation protected
A tragic holiday for my family.
My step-mother Stephanie who was one of two airlifted from the horrific scene of a head on collision in Nanaimo BC while on Holidays with her parents, is in hospital after suffering from a broken leg and broken arm/wrist and more. She has already undergone surgery. But she can feel all the pain & felt all the pain during surgery. She will need help to recover from this horrific accident, which will take a considerable amount of time and of course will not be able to work. Not that it's ever a right time to be in an accident but its extra heartfelt as it's the holidays.
The recovery time will be very painful, physically, emotionally and mentally. On top of that, the loss of her father from the very same head on collision.
Her mother (my step-grandmother) was the second person to be airlifted to a separate hospital suffering from other major injuries. They both have to suffer long lasting heartbreak and emotional well-being from the loss of the driver of the vehicle, whom which was Stephanie's father, and her mothers husband - Shinder Kirk.
Shinder was a well known retired police officer, this sad news for our entire community & province.
