Transgender Son's top surgery
Donation protected
I am a proud mother of a 17 year old Transgender Son, he was born Megan Michelle, and now goes by Jace Wesley. I love my child with all I am, and proud of who he is becoming. I want my child to be happy, and from an early age of just 5 Megan was sooooo tom boyish and I didn't think too much about it. At the age of 12, Megan dressed like a boy, walked like a boy and was not feminine at all. Megan started having grand mal seizures that were uncontrollable, we were in and out of the dr's office for 6 months. Megan finally got some meds to help and at the same time I found some questionable messages on Megan's phone that might suggest she was interested in girls. I asked Megan, to which she denied. I than explained that I loved Megan no matter what her preference was, only she knew what could make her happy. Megan then started to cry and said she was scared to tell people of fear of not being accepted. I said if someone doesn't accept you for you then they have no business being in your life. Megan stopped having seizures after that, Megan was so stressed out by this that the seizures came on. My now Son Jace is very happy as much as he can be with still having breasts and still wearing binders, which are very hard on Jace as he suffers from asthma. Unfortunately, Jace was not born in the body that he should of been. I am asking for help to get him his top surgery to remove his breasts. Any help would be great, we are looking into a recommended dr by the name of Dr. Scott Mosser in the San Francisco area. Please always remember, judging without experiencing what that person goes through on a daily basis is harsh and has lasting effects on the people being criticized. You may not agree with it but at the end of the day, we are all human and deserve to be happy.
