Fay Burton Transitional Housing Program
Tax deductible
Transition 123 has provided emergency/transitional housing for women in our community since 2004. Our goal is to build (or purchase) a building to house and provide supportive services for over 20 families affected by domestic violence annually. The Fay Burton Transitional Housing Facility will host women and children displaced physically and financially as a result of mental, physical and sexual abuse and/or violence.
According the the National Domestic Abuse Hotline, a victim will need to leave a total of 7 times before they permanently vacate an abusive relationship.
Transition 1.2.3's mission is to be a catalyst in the lives of disenfranchised women (through domestic violence) to move them to a plateau of success in every aspect of their lives spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. We believe providing supportive services helps victims stay away for good.
We need your support in providing:
- Transitional Housing for 6-12 months
- Group and individual counseling
- Personal Development (Life, Financial, Self-Care Skills)
The contribution you make is an investment to human life. With your help, WE CAN break ground on our facility by 2021.
