Treatment of eye cancer
Hi dear friends, family & well wishers,
We are extremely heartbroken to inform you all that our 3 years old daughter Subharambi is suffering from eye cancer (retinoblastoma) . We tried a lot of treatment procedures in Nepal but all over efforts have been vain. Finally, the senior doctor of Til Ganga Eye Hospital referred us to the Doctor of MD Anderson Cancer Center. We are thankful and have no words to express the sincere and valuable support and effort of the doctors from Nepal. With the referral from the medical team in Nepal, we came to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston ,USA.
Subharambi is our only child. We come from a financially disadvantaged family from the remote area of Nepal. We had a family business which supported us financially & help us run our dailylife. Since last year we had to regularlyspend a huge amount of money for Subu's recovery. During the time, we sold our belongings and before coming to US, we took a huge loan from many people. The hospital family informed us that a huge amount of capital is needed for Subu's recovery and treatment.
Right now we are helpless but still fighting along with our daughter for her recovery. So, we are requesting all of you for your valuable support. Subharambi is small child and so full of life and it is unfair that she is having to go through this. We so wish and pray that she will get to see and experience the beautiful world and this will possible through the help of all of you. She already lost her right eye 7 months ago and next one is in danger as well. So, if we are able to do the treatment, we can save her.
We pray that no child ever face this tragic situation. We have completed 8 cycle of chemotherapy but still it is not working properly but we are hopeful. The medical team at Md Anderson have been so helpful and supportive in Subu's recovery process. So, as parents we are trying our best to help our lovely daughter. She is our heart, our everything.
Thanks to all from the inner core of our heart.
