Triplets Want To Be Adopted
Donation protected
Children deserve to be a part of a loving family. To feel wanted, to feel important, to feel included.
What is family? Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what.
What's in a name? A name can define our identity. It refers to who we are and who our family is.
Lily Rose, Miley and Tierney have asked to officially be a 'Smith'. For Ned, their step-father, to formally adopt them, and he says he is honored they chose him. He has shown them the kind of love and emotional stability that they have yearned to have. He loves them unconditionally and will be their 'forever dad'. So, it is time to make it legally so.
Their birth father has given his blessing and we are moving forward to make this happen. They are starting 1st grade at a new school on August 10th, so our hope is that they can have a fresh start at their new school with their new names.
We are asking friends and family first for your prayers. Please pray for this transition and for this process to go smoothly. We have hired an attorney to take our case and will have extensive legal fees, court costs and filing fees to take care of to make the adoption official. We are asking for anyone who feels inclined to do so, to help us with these expenses. Any contribution is a great blessing to us!
The theme of adoption is woven throughout Scripture, serving to not only strengthen our faith but to also encourage us as we press into the needs of children.
"In love, he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.” – Ephesians 1:5
The girls have made it clear that this is something that they need, so please help us to press forward to make it happen.
With love and appreciation,
Ned & Brittany
Lily Rose, Miley, Tierney, Sawyer, Mason, Coral & Jaxon
