Trump Portrait @ Colorado Capitol
Donation protected
Colorado Senate President Kevin J. Grantham is asking for your help to get the portrait of President Donald J. Trump created and hung in the Colorado State Capitol. Each day, thousands of tourists, visitors, and Colorado history buffs tour the State Capitol, but there is still no portrait of President Donald J. Trump.
Regardless of your personal feelings for the President, ensuring that our Hall of Presidential Portraits is complete is vital for the preservation of our nation's - and our state's - history.
Creation and framing of the portrait will cost $10,000, which is the same amount that the President Barack Obama portrait cost, and it will be done by the same artist.
Help us fund the President Trump portrait today.
The first $10,000 raised by this campaign will be donated directly from President Grantham to Colorado Citizens for Culture, which oversees the payment of the artist and the hanging of the portrait.
Any additional money raised over the $10,000 required for the portrait will be donated by President Grantham to Rocky Mountain Honor Flight, a 501(c)3 non-profit that gives WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans in the Rocky Mountain Region the opportunity to visit the National WWII Memorial and other monuments and memorials dedicated to their service, located in Washington D.C.
If you'd like to donate directly to Colorado Citizens for Culture, you can mail a check, made out to "Colorado Citizens for Culture," and mail it to this address:
2001 Lincoln Street, Suite 1611
Denver, CO 80202
Make sure to include "Trump Portrait" in the memo.
