Tucker's War, A Western TV Series

This is a campaign with a lofty mission: to help revitalize the great era of american western films and television shows. "Tucker's War" is a brand new western TV series in the tradition of Legends of the Fall and Lonesome Dove. Created by international award winning american director and screenwriter Stephen Savage, Tucker's War follows the story of WWI medal of honor recipient Tucker Hicks, who returns home from the great war to rebuild his life in an America caught between its industrial future and a Wild West that no longer exists.  with Wolfgang Bodison ("A Few Good Men"), Don Swayze ("True Blood"),  Angela Daun ("Entourage"), and starring newcomer Steve Silkotch, a real working cowboy, as Tucker Hicks. Also starring a group of dedicated reenactors, horsemen and horsewomen: the world famous  Ramona Cowboys,  stars of California's Official State Play, "Ramona".  For the first time, a western television series will star actual cowboys in major roles, surrounded by some of Hollywoods favorite actors. With executive producer Trinity Houston, Stephen Savage, who's heroes include John Ford, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and Howard Hawks, has created a story full of richly developed characters and situations that are sure to attract lovers of both western film and the ideal of an america that once was, and in many respects, should be again.
