Running For Veterans

Over the last few years I have started participating in endurance sports. Saturday, January 13th, I will be participating in my next event, The Charleston 02 Marathon. I will be running with a couple other Citadel Cadets in hopes to raise awareness for the needs of our Veterans. As a Citadel Cadet, who will be comissioning as an officer next May, with several imediate family, and dozens of friends who have or are serving, this is an issue near and dear to me. Especially in the winter months, the men and women who served us so bravely need our help. Whether it's a hot meal, a warm bed, or medical treatment, many veterans from all walks of life can benefit from a little extra help. All proceeds raised will be donated directly to the Robert L. Johnson VFW Post 771, in Springfield VT. Any donation, big or small, can make a world of difference. Thank you for your time and generosity.
