Levi's journey continues!

On April 15, 2018 the Holmes family was blindsided by the devastating news that Levi Holmes was facing a battle against autoimmune hemolytic anemia, a rare but serious blood disorder where the body destroys red blood cells more rapidly than it produces them.  As a result, Levi has had several blood transfusions and will continue to need them.  A day after this already heart wrenching diagnosis little Levi started having seizures and the family learned that his body was clotting everywhere, leading to a massive stroke and other life threatening issues.

The coming weeks for Levi and his family will be very hard and exhausting while they try to determine the cause of his anemia and work toward recovering.
