World Track & Field Championships

Hi, I’m Ty Brown from Washington, DC.  I have created a Go Fund Me account to raise funds to go to the World Masters Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Malaga Spain this coming September. The funds will be used to defray the cost of airfare, accommodations, food and registration fees.  I will be in Malaga Spain from September 3 – 17,  2018. Your support toward this endeavor would be appreciated.

 I am a former runner for the Eastern Ramblers (HS) Hancock Bulldogs (JC) and Maryland Terrapins.  I am also a retired CSI with PGPD.  Currently  I compete in the mens 70 – 74 age category under the umbrella of the USATF masters.

I have held at least five (5) WORLD RECORDS during my tenure as a masters athlete, four in my specialty, hurdles, and one WORLD RECORD in sprinting, (60m dash). I also have numerous American Records in the hurdles. I am a two time North American, Central American, Caribbean, World Champion (NCCWMA) in the hurdles, 100, 200 meter dashes, Long Jump and the 4x100 relay.
