"Tyler was a friend to all and an enemy to none. He went through every day with a smile on his face, and had a lasting and profound impact on everyone around him. He was deeply loved by all and will be remembered by friends as a kind-hearted, genuine person. He was never negative and when he spoke, positive energy filled the room.
This incredible young man died tragically in a dirt bike accident. Tyler had amazing focus and lofty goals. He was a straight A student, dedicated tennis player on the Ascension traveling tennis team at Sun Oaks, a true friend to all, a loving brother and son, a positive role model for his friends and a shining light for everyone.
Tyler’s goal was to achieve a tennis/academic scholarship for a D1 university. His dream was to work with handicapped children. Tyler’s family wants his joy, positive outlook on life, strong morals and values, and his natural leadership to carry on through a scholarship established in his memory.
Thank you for helping us carry on Tyler’s incredible legacy. We are so very proud of all he accomplished and the lives he touched during his 16 years."
These words were provided directly from Tyler's family. As a long time friend of Jeff & Molly, and a pastor of a local church here in Redding, CA, they asked me to set up and monitor this GoFundMe account on their behalf, which I am honored to do. Once we have achieved the goal, all of the funds will be withdrawn and placed into an account they are setting up with a local bank to oversee and supervise the ongoing distribution of the scholarship funds in the years to come.
Thank you for your ongoing help and support.
