Dawn Stofan

My name is Dawn, and on May 20th I will undergo major spinal cord surgery after doctors found severe damage in six of the seven vertebrae in my neck. The pain, balance so serious that I can not longer work or care for myself normally. After years of worsening health and multiple injuries, I lost my apartment because I could no longer keep up with the rent. I am now homeless and terrified of having nowhere safe to recover after sugery. I am trying to raise enough to cover a small hotel room or safe place to stay during my 12-week recovery, along with transportation to medical appointments, medications, and basic daily needs while I heal. I have to worked hard my life, and asking for help is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. But right now, I truly cannot get through this alone.
