<div>I am just a normal person that goes to work every day to support his family. I am 40 years old and put myself through school to be a teacher; however, because of Covid, I ended up in a different career to ensure my family was taken care of. My hobby is being an indie game developer, and almost all my personal time goes to working on various projects. Creating/developing games is my way of relieving anxiety, and I normally devote 4 to 6 hours a day to it (after work and in between family related activities).

<div>I have been using a fifteen-year-old laptop, that was held together by prayers and duct tape, to work on various projects. I have been needing to replace it for a while; however, it was one of those things where I had to put the needs of my family first before my wants. As is life, things kept coming up and I couldn't justify spending that much money on myself for a want.

<div>Unfortunately, my computer has finally died, and I cannot afford to drop the entirety of what is required for a new computer. I am currently putting my daughter through college and preparing to help my son with a baby on the way. I am using a very old laptop a friend lent me to still be able to work on my projects; however, it is quite old and can’t handle the stress of my projects. It is good for what I need right now, but it is going to have to be replaced as various things already don't work on it. I need to get a budget computer for game development.
