The William E. Peacock, Jr. FOP Lodge #10 Charitable Foundation is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a board of trustees of the elected officers of the William E. Peacock Lodge #10 Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
In March 2012 the Foundation purchased a single family dwelling in Stone Mountain for the purpose of refurbishing the house for use as comfortable and usable, temporary housing for law enforcement families in need due to extended hospitalizations in nearby facilities or other urgent housing needs due to fire, flood or other tragic circumstances.
The house has been refurbished and partially furnished, however additional needs including the replacement of a faulty water heater, window treatments, landscaping, tree trimming and removal have postponed opening of the house. At the same time, insurance, property taxes and utility payments accrue. The project cannot proceed without additional funding.
