Helping Mrs. Courtney Forget

Mrs. Courtney Forget is the art teacher at Glenkirk Elementary and is currently battling colon cancer. She was diagnosed in the summer of 2015 and immediately began chemotherapy and radiation. Despite this, she continued to come to school and teach art. Unfortunately the treatments have taken a toll and she has taken a leave of absence. She will have surgery on Friday, November 6th to remove the tumor and will be off work at least until the beginning of January. She will then begin six months of more intense chemotherapy which will require more time off of work. Her leave is dwindling and she will soon be without a paycheck. Please consider a donation on this page or attendance at our Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, November 6th from 5pm-8pm at Glenkirk Elementary. She has so much to be stressed about, her bills shouldn't be an added stressor.
