The Sackett family Fertility Fund

Hi my name is Erica Sackett and the really handsome man in the picture with me is my husband Steven. We live pretty simple lives in our quaint little town in Ohio with my(our) three children from a previous marriage. They are our world and we devote everything we have to them. Steve and I met many moons ago when he invited me to his senior prom. He says I flirted with him to make him ask, but how much of that is true who knows. Fast forward to 14 years later, a failed marriage that is a whole different story, three beautiful children, and a one of a kind love that was in the making from God for so many years. One date led to many and many led to a marriage. Steven is an amazing father to my(our) three children but does not have any of his own; Although he has always from day one taken the responsibility of Dad and provider to the three we have. From changing his first diaper even as my 3 year old runs away as soon as the diaper was off to nail polishing my daughters nails because I am at work and she wants to dress up. Although we are both fertile as can be, the connections are not there. My last pregnancy came with some complications emotionally that caused a drastic and quick decision to cut my tubes after the labor(again a whole different story) I look back and wonder had I not been so hurt and damaged from the situation at hand would Steve and I have a bouncy little bundle as we speak. But all decisions were made and Gods hand is in everything. The plan was to have my tubes untied then as fate would have it I got really sick and had 2 surgeries damaging my tubes on the right side. This left me with little to no tube to re-tie. The option left for us is IVF and because we are both very fertile our chances are great. Unfortunately this is an expensive treatment process and although we both have stable incomes the upfront cost is high. We have spent many hours contemplating the next step and what we felt God wanted us to do.  We have prayed and pondered till we can no longer debate.  We are now leaving it up to him and starting a fund for fertility treatments. We are hoping that along with your heart felt and loving donations and our savings we will in the next year be adding a little Sackett baby to our home.
