Help Me Buy a Clunker

Hi,
My name is Steven Alan Green and I am a comedian, actor, and writer for most of my life. For the past 18 months I've been paying the rent driving for Uber and Lyft. And, while I had a great time doing it, and had very high ratings and great customer comments, the expenses of driving professionally were just too high. Between the weekly lease payments of $104, special commercial insurance ($200/month) and daily high fuel bill of $20, driving professionally is expensive. Besides, it was tiring me out. Doing an average of 8 to 10 hour driving shifts every day got me my daily rent and food money, but enough not to pay the weekly lease payment and just two days ago the car was repossessed. I need a car. I live in L.A. Living in L.A. without a car is like living in the old west without a horse.
But, rather than get a new car to Uber in, I've decided to concentrate on deliveries and private comedy tours to the public. After all, I'm a comedian of over 30 years, been on television and I love to talk and listen. I will be writing about my adventures in my blog for The Jewish Journal and making a YouTube series about driving and all the wonderful interesting and weird people you meet. My credit is bad and I would rather just plunk down some cash and get a good solid used car. I might even paint it up light blue and slap The Laughter Foundation on it, which I founded. IF, I raise MORE money than my goal, enough to buy a car good enough to Uber in, then that would allow me to make that extra money whenever I needed it. (In order to Uber, you have to have a car less than 10 years old, four door and in good condition.) I am a Five Star driver.
