90th Anniversary Fundraiser

The Union County Performing Arts Center is a historic landmark located in the head of the Arts District in Rahway, New Jersey. It is one of the largest performing arts centers in Central New Jersey and has hosted thousands of concerts, performances, and events in its lifetime. Did you know that ticket sales cover less than half the cost of productions? In order to continue our mission as a regional destination for art and culture, the UCPAC seeks collaborative partnerships with individuals like you.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the UCPAC relies on friends and supporters to make the generous contributions that allow us to continue to bring a variety of arts programming to the general public. This year, the UCPAC celebrates its 90th Anniversary since it originally opened as the Rahway Theater on October 16, 1928. To properly celebrate this momentous occasion, the UCPAC will be hosting a special screening of the original silent film version of The Phantom of the Opera, accompanied by the famous “Biggest Little Wurlitzer.” We at UCPAC are asking YOU to help us raise $90,000 in honor of our historic theater’s 90th Anniversary.
Your donations to this campaign will help fund:
The renovation and modernization of the theater
Operational costs associated with running the theater
The presentation and production of theatrical performances by local theater organizations and individuals
Live concerts featuring renown artists
UCPAC’s youth programming initiative to have regular opportunities for youth to be involved in theater and theater production
Free multicultural programs and events
Classic and independent film presentations
We wish to provide quality programming and performances that are educational, affordable, and enrich the arts within our diverse communities. The UCPAC staff is dedicated to making Rahway, New Jersey a hub for the performing arts.
