Rhynans Medical Fund

Dear family and friends,

During the first week of May our favorite teenager received some devastating news; an MRI result had found a malignant germ cell tumor in his testicle. In just a week and a halfs time Rhynan has seen several different doctors, undergone tests and is braving through an Inguinal Orchiectomy surgery for seminoma cancer, with a testicular implant all at 16. He's had to make some pretty big decisions in-regards to his future and the possibility of preserving a family. These aren't the decisions teenagers should have to make and yet Rhynan has made them with confidence . He will have to undergo a few treatments of Chemotherapy after he has healed from his surgery to get rid of any remaining cancer cells in his body. During this whole time Rhynan has managed to remain positive and upbeat and is using his situation to remind his friends not to take life for granted and get checked regularly.

Rhynan is a such a great kid and anyone that has met him will most likely have a great story to share to prove just that. Rhynan is currently a Junior at Del Campo High school where he is ranked a C-Capt in their ROTC program. He participates in their silent drill team and in his spare time likes to choreograph routines. Rhynan plays the drums, and used to play the sax when he was younger. He is the oldest of 4 boys and he wears that badge with pride, he loves being their big brother and it shows in all of his actions from teaching them the basics to spending time with them playing games. Rhynan's future goal in life is to join the United States Air Force and has been working very diligently towards that, he volunteers in his community and is always take iniative in helping where its needed. 

An abundance of friends and family have been asking how they can help. Currently, Rhynans parents are unsure on what procedures their insurance will cover or wont cover; but the bare minimium out of pocket will be $6,000 and this is before the Chemo therapy and any other treatments that will be needed. 

We are putting together this Go Fund Me to facilitate our friends and family in giving any and all donations towards Rhynan's health treatments. No donation is too little!  We will be wrapping up this go fund me account with a benfit show in which you are all invited to participate. This will be happening in a month from now and we will continue to keep everyone updated.
