Here it is guys...My sister Candy Davis wouldn’t have ever wanted to be  a "recipient" on this page, rather the person setting up a GOFUNDME account for one of her "sister girls," friends, or family members... Had this been around when her mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she would have been the first one on it! Thank goodness Becky is a survivor and doing well. When her son  Zane was diagnosed with testicular cancer, she didn’t lay down and think his life was doomed and that she wouldn’t be blessed with grandbabies...NO! She researched, learned and fought the good fight with him!!! He is doing very well and has two healthy kids!  Jaycob, her son is one of her biggest emotional supporters...He walks the walk with his mom and would do anything for her!! Candy is the MOST giving, kind hearted, gifted, blessed woman I know... What Candy is going thru right now would have driven most of us into insanity and severe depression long ago. She is a fighter and will NOT let this get the best of her. Thru her battle of 2 years she has rarely broken down, instead she has risen above this devastation of her health and researched and educated herself AND us. July 2013, she explains "woke up to a excruciating pain on my left side abdomen. Ruptured colon with more type cysts called diverticulitis. I still have diverticula but with diet I have managed to control" She started a Facebook page called THE DIVA AND STELLA page...this brought many followers into the life’s of Candy (Diva) and Stella ( her new colostomy) in so many ways it brought light and laughter into the daily routine of having a colostomy...It also showed a very vulnerable side to Candy. She began to show a bit of frustration and began asking why...With the love and support of her followers and those that are in the same situation she again began to research and get the answers to her WHY question. Lucky for her, Stella was a temporary appendage...Back in for surgery to reattach her "pluming." With Stella gone, Candy still kept the page up....and Eventually changed the name...One Diva Day At A Time here we are..."My body is being attacked by one of 3 genetic diseases that I'm currently being tested for this all started in my early 20's my right lung collapsed twice in a 3 month period. I have had lung surgery and lost part of my lung. The part they took out was covered in little cysts called blebs. Now this current  disease has been attacking my ovaries & kidneys. Starting May 19th 2015 the first of many more surgeries to come. Partial nephrectomy ( cutting small tumors off my right kidney.)Then a full nephrectomy (losing my left kidney)due to renal angiomyolipomas. Benign kidney tumor, not cancer. Still something that grew on the outside of my right and completely took over my left.  when that's done and healed move on to the other stuff. Crazy to think my body has been attacking itself. Pre OP for  05/19/2015  Blood test for surgery came in today. My Kidneys are starting to show that they are having a hard time doing their job. I'm showing signs of Proximal renal tubular acidosis. Proximal renal tubular acidosis is a disease that occurs when the kidneys don't properly remove acids from the blood into the urine. As a result, too much acid remains in the blood (called acidosis). Remember all that crazy that went down on Sunday? I felt something went crazy wrong with me that day, well now I know."
I could really put so much more on here and will soon add more after her surgery Tuesday...Now you know the jist of whats going on...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE we ask that you pray, love, laugh and help financially support our SISTER,DAUGHTER, MOTHER and FRIEND thru this time of trial and tribulation. These days, $5.00 may not seem like a lot of help, but without a doubt it does. There are times my Sister AKA Diva wakes up in the morning not only blessed to be alive, but fuling intending to go to work at COSTCO with bells and whistles on...finding herself having to make that dreaded call in because she is so fatigued that she can barely make her way to the restroom for that all important morning duty....PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE share and re share. Thank you ALL for your kindness and generosity!!!!
