UMBC Ice Hockey Supports Movember

The University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) men's ice hockey players, coaches, and staff are growing mustaches for the month of November to support men's health awareness. The team is accepting donations online and at home games through November 30. We will donate half of the proceeds to the Movember Foundation and the remainder will help fund the UMBC ice hockey program, which relies on donations from its supporters to help cover their costs.
The Movember Foundation raises awareness and assistance for men’s health issues – including prostate cancer. The name, Movember, is a combination of the Australian slang word for mustache, Mo, and the month of the fundraiser, November.
