UNDERNEATH is a sci-fi short film from David Kirkman that centers around a young man apart of the secret space program who comes into contact with the future black race after a military expedition in Antarctica.

WHY THIS PROJECT:
Considering this is the beginning of the rebirth of the sci-fi genre, this project would be at the forefront of helping usher in a new wave of what's being known as afrofuturism. Black Panther, a Disney-backed film that released in 2018, has only helped shed a spotlight on the fact that there's an entire audience hungry for these kinds of stories. Our team’s focus would be to give the audience the best experience and quality possible.
That's why I need your help to ensure that everything put forth is nothing but the best so we can soon turn this into a feature film.
You've already seen what we did with $3,000 for a 40 minute fan film. You can check out clips to that here:

Support this project and we will create an excellent short film you haven't quite yet seen on screen yet!
PLEDGE LEVELS WITH CORRESPONDING GIFTS:
Donate at least $10: Thank you for helping get this project off the ground! Donate this amount and you will receive film updates regarding production, screenings, events, etc.
Donate at least $25: FAN CLUB. Receive film updates regarding production, screenings, events, etc. and an HD digital download of UNDERNEATH. Your name will of course be mentioned online as a supporter of the film!
Donate at least $50: SPECIAL THANKS. You will receive a 'Special Thanks' credit in the film and film updates regarding production, screenings, events, etc. and an HD digital download.
Donate at least $100: A DVD or BLU RAY of the film and a special thanks in our credits. Includes all previous reward tiers. These items are exclusive to the campaign, and will be shipped for free in the U.S. Please add an additional $10 to your pledge for international shipping
Donate at least $250: Original UNDERNEATH poster signed by me and members of the team, digital .mp3 download of the original score and soundtrack, and "making of" documentary. Includes all previous reward tiers.
Donate at least $500: On-screen Associate Producer credit and listed in IMDB. A prop, wardrobe, set dressing, or similar piece of paraphernalia that appears in the film (accompanied by a hand written letter signed by the director that explains its significance and inspiration). Includes all previous reward tiers.
Donate at least $1000: On-screen Producer credit and listed in IMDB, E-mail Updates regarding the film's progress. Copy of David's original idea-book and journal for Underneath. Get to see the film earlier than anybody else. Includes all previous reward tiers.
Donate at least $5000: You’ll get literally everything listed in the other levels, plus an on-screen Executive Producer credit that is unique and appropriate to the film, and listed in IMDB. You'll be apart of David's inner circle.
