Unite and Fight for Matt King

On 8/21/17 Pro surfer Matt King suffered a 10' fall from a ladder landing on his head causing significant injuries. Matt was rushed to the ER in Mission Viejo. Matt underwent a series of tests and imaging and was found to have a fractured skull, a brain bleed, and several fractured vertebrae. As a result of his serious injuries Matt is suffering from right sided facial paralysis, deafness in his right ear, memory loss, impaired equalibrium, blurred vision and constant dizziness.  Matt has been in the hospital since admission to the ER with no discharge day in sight. While in good spirits, Matt will need to undergo grueling physical therapy and rehabilitation to regain even a fraction of the abilities he has lost. Matt is unable to work at this time and in need of assistance to pay daily living expenses and will need assistance with transporation costs to and from physical and occupational therapy. This will be a long road to recovery and he is likely looking at possibley 6 months to a year or longer to regain his abilities. Our goal is $15,000 to help defer some of these costs with the  hopes of raising more if possible. Any donation is greatly appreciated from Matt and his loving family.
