Tomas Diaz La Jolla Shooting Victim

On Sunday, April 30, a gunman opened fire at a pool party in San Diego, killing one person and injuring six others. Sadly, this senseless act of violence has affected our family. My brother Tomas was among the victims that were shot. He was shot in the abdomen and had to undergo surgery. The bullet ruptured a kidney and doctors were not able to save it. He is currently still recovering in the hospital.
