Sustainable Fashion and Female Empowerment

We're shedding light on this underrepresented field to highlight the ways you can help women around the world.

During this event, we'll be examining the cultural, moral and social aspects of sustainable fashion. It will be a hands-on experience, allowing you to brainstorm and actually upcycle a piece of clothing! Our goal is to highlight of the role of women as both manufacturers and as consumers and how through sustainable fashion, we have the ability to lift everyone in the fashion lifecycle.

We'll have also have Fair Trade Goods on sale and opportunities for you to win items! Proceeds from this event will help support UN Women programs and policies.

We hope that you will be able to join us, and contribute to building a stronger community of women and girls in the Los Angeles area who envision a more equitable world.
