USVI Hurricane Relief Shipping

Hey everyone! My name is Kurrisa and I'm a Proud Virgin Islander.  If you've  been listening to the news and tracking the weather recently you would notice that a lot of natural diasters have affected multiple countries; including my Hometown the US Virgin Islands.  Within 10 days of each other the VI was affected by Both Category 5 Hurricanes Irma and Maria.  The VI is currenlty in a debris filled state.  Schools have been destroyed, homes have been demolished, roofs have disappeared, cars are totaled, electrical poles are down and too many other travesties to name.  The islands are with out power and to be honest will be that way for quite some time. With that being said getting basic needs and items will not be as easy as walking into a store.  Many Virgin Islanders across the mainland are trying their best to think  of ways to help their home, one major way is to send items home that may be unavialable for a while.  I have started this go fund me to raise money to pay to ship a 20' trailer of items HOME to the US Virgin Islands.  I am asking for your help to make this a reality.    To my fellow Virgin Islanders this is the time when embracing the idea of being a PROUD  CRUCIAN, ST. THOMIAN, & ST. JOHNIAN, comes in Clutch! Let's come together as we have been over the last month and get our islands back on track!   This is the time to Support our Own .  

I will work on coordinating ground efforts to distribute items on island as well, more than likely through my Dad's Office! (Senator Kurt Vialet).
