UTSA Global Brigades Ghana

Global Brigades has become the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Global Brigades works to improve the quality of life in under-resourced communities by leveraging the skill, knowledge, and passion of students and professionals. Through fundraising and participation on 7-9 day brigades, volunteers are able to support the local community by improving socioeconomics, health, infrastructure, and education. Every $6 that you decide to donate to Global Brigades will provide 1 person access to community health services for one year.


Our UTSA chapter this year will be volunteering in Ghana in areas of low resources in order to provide medical care, dental care, and public health services. Our goal is to provide sustainable resources together with the local community to ensure that the current and future generations of the impacted area will live in better conditions.
