My name is Peter Yobo and I believe I have been given a short opportunity on this planet to impact as many people as I can.
I was raised in Ghana, a small country in West Africa. When I was little, I had this dream of playing football at the University of Southern California. Soon after, I gave up on the dream because no one ever told me that I could do anything I set my mind to.
Well, as I walked out in the USC uniform in the Coliseum, I realized that dream had actually come true.
Being in America for the past 10 years, I have realized the main difference between kids who grow up in America and kids who grow up in Africa… having big dreams and believing they can actually come true.
I feel a burden to empower Africans to believe in their dreams and help them discover the plan to make these dreams come to fruition.
Unlock Your Greatness (UYG) is a live empowerment event with six different speakers, designed to help my people in Africa unlock the hidden power we all have within us. This event will be held in Ghana and will provide the resources, mindset, and techniques for African attendees to surpass limitations, believe in themselves, and impact the continent of Africa.
The money we raise on this site will go towards:
Covering travel and expenses for event speakers
Venue and Vendor fees for the event
Audio/Video technician to film the event (video will then be used to create an online training program that will be offered at no cost to schools, vocational training programs, and missions.)
We will need the funds by the end of July 2016 in order to plan travel and secure an A/V team at rates within budget.
It is my purpose to help the people of this world to not only be successful, but achieve Greatness in everything they do. Being able to impact the African continent before I leave this earth will be me achieving my Greatness.
