Veitch House Fire Help

Donation protected
Jennifer Veitch is a mother of three who lost her home and practically everything in it due to a horrible house fire on November 10th, 2018. As you can see from the picture, it was a total loss. Even her brand new car (the red Honda in the driveway) didn't escape the fires fury. Jennifer and her three children are very blessed to have escaped with their lives and only minor injuries, considering the fact that smoke detectors did not go off until AFTER her and her children were out of the house. It's a terrible situation.

The Alabaster Fire Department and Red Cross have helped tremendously with some immediate needs and insurance should cover the house and (hopefully) they'll be able to soon move into temporary housing until they can either re-build or find a new home.

However, there are still needs that you could help out with. Jennifer needs clothing and shoes. The kids lost all of their Christmas presents that Jennifer had spent money on. As they transition into another home from the hotel where they're now staying, housewares and furniture will be needed too. Jennifer's son's car only had liability insurance on it, so he's out of a car too from being destroyed in the fire and Jennifer is still in need of a car as well.

This GoFundMe account will help offset some financial burden in their time of need and allow them to purchase clothing and other needed items.

Anything will help and your prayers and generosity is definitely appreciated.

Thank you.
