About Veteran Comic Con
Veteran Comic Con was created to celebrate and support veteran artists, writers, and creators who use storytelling and art as therapy. Through comics, sculpture, painting, and performance, veterans find new ways to process trauma, rebuild purpose, and connect with community.
Each year, we host panels, workshops, and exhibits that spotlight these creators, helping veterans share their art with the public while raising awareness of how creativity heals invisible wounds.
Why We’re Fundraising
Normally, Veteran Comic Con would be happening right now, our live annual event filled with veteran artists, cosplayers, and storytellers coming together under one roof.
This year, however, we’re pausing the in-person event and aiming to return next year (likely in the spring or summer). The delay allows us to rebuild our resources and ensure that the next event is the most impactful one yet.
Your donation will help us:
Bring back our in-person event featuring veteran artists, speakers, and workshops
Support art therapy and creative wellness programming year-round
Cover essential costs for venue, accessibility, and production
Keep participation free for veterans
A Veterans Day Message
In honor of Veterans Day, we’ve released a special short video panel featuring Veteran Artists:
