Help a Homeless Veteran

I am trying to help my old neighbor. His name is Jay and he is a Veteran. Jay recently fell on hard times and lost his place to live and is now living out of his car. He has no food and no money. He get a little food from me and what he can from The local food bank. He uses a small single burner camp stove to cook top ramen and whatever else we get him. Jay has always been a great neighbor. He would help other neighbors take out trash and just normal neighborly things. An all around good person who doesn't deserve his situation. I am seeking help in hopes of getting him food, water, maybe a hotel for a night here and there so he can shower and shave. He needs shoes, laundry done. Basically everything. I put the amount at $30,000 because he’s a Veteran who deserves it. I’m not expecting to hit it but every dollar counts. Whether we hit it or not it is gonna change his life.
