Help Grayson come home!

Our dear friends, Gabrielle & Brent Pohlman had the most beautiful baby boy 8 months ago. Grayson was born seven weeks premature and with a congenital heart defect that required open heart surgery to repair his heart. The family relocated to Philadelphia in mid-December so that Grayson could undergo surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Grayson had surgery on December 15th. Unfortunately, there have been many complications and Grayson still remains in the hospital. He developed a severe infection on Christmas and then had to undergo a second open heart surgery to repair a residual hole in his heart that was preventing him from recovering and making him sicker. Grayson unfortunately remains at CHOP and can't be discharged because he needs to be on three IV antibiotics as a result of the severity of the infection. Gabrielle and Brent are concerned, as we all are, that a longer stay in the hospital could lead to another infection or catching a virus. We all want Grayson to come home to recover in the safety of his own home. The only way to do this is to have around the clock nursing care to administer and monitor his IV antibiotics. Their insurance will not pay for the nursing care. Gabrielle and Brent have been through so much both this past month and in the months prior to surgery and coming home to New Jersey to the support of their friends and family will help nurse Grayson back to health. In order for Grayson to come home, we need to raise this money as soon as possible.
