Vicious beating with a hammer

On 4/11/17, my sister Joyce, 62, and a coworker were viciously attacked at work at about 6 a.m. by a man with a hammer and a knife.  Joyce got the worst of it and had to be taken to a high-level trauma center ER.   She lost a lot of blood, had her nose broken and split vertically (stitches under skin and what you see in picture) by the hammer.  Seven staples in the back of her head.   Collapse of left lung which will heal itself.  If the man hadn't been distracted by a third person coming in to work, he probably would have continued the hammer attack and killed them both.

My sister only just returned to work last week.  She also started radiation for breast cancer that same week.  Of course she missed today's radiation, but I will take her tomorrow.   They will add a day at the end.  She now can't even go to work.   The assailant also kicked her hit her with the hammer about her body, including the breast and armpit area that had the cancer.

She lives with our disabled mom and is her primary caretaker.   Our mom was admitted (planned) to the hospital today.   Right now we just don't know how she's going to cover her living expenses.  Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.  Please keep Joyce and the other victim in your prayers.  Thank you.
