Vicky’s fight against ALS
Donation protected
My mother has been in the fight against ALS - also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease - for almost 3 years now. Through the past few years it has gotten increasingly hard for her to function. Her disease has gotten to the point of losing all speech and motor skills. She is in need of constant attention and care. My father, brother and I have been her main caregivers and we have done as much as we can but it is getting to the point of needing more than we are able provide. Our hope is to raise enough money to be able to hire an in-home caregiver that specializes in ALS. This will hopefully make her fight a little more comfortable, as well as provide our family with a peace of mind, knowing that the things we are unable to help with are still being addressed. In addition, her prescriptions are no longer covered by insurance, costing our family thousands of dollars. This has made a significant impact on her day to day life.
Any donations will help, and will be appreciated beyond what you can imagine. Our family has been trying so hard to provide her with everything she needs to fight this horrible disease and make things as easy as possible, but we need help. Please consider donating and/or sharing our page.
Thank you.
