Collin McDonalds Vin Fiz II Flight
Donation protected
My name is Collin McDonald. I am an Honors Student at Middle Tennessee State University studying Aerospace. As an Honors Student, I am required to complete an Honors Thesis Project. My project is a creative project flying the route of the first transcontinental flight by Cal Rodgers in his Vin Fiz way back in 1911. This project will be a month-long flight from Murfreesboro, TN to New York, then on to Chicago, south to Dallas, then out to Los Angels, and finally returning to Murfreesboro. I will be representing my school, our great community, and showing the nation just how feasible becoming a pilot can be! But I can't do it without your help! The fuel for the trip, aircraft maintenance, and equiptment required to safely complete the trip are more than I can afford as a college student (the fuel alone will cost over $10,000). But if generous individuals such as yourself help, we can make this trip happen! No amount of donation is too small to help. (Every $5 buys a gallon of fuel!) This is a life's dream coming true and you can be a part of a historical flight. I will be leaving in early May so there is only a little time to help! I hope to meet some of you along the way! Follow me on Facebook (search "Vin Fiz") to see where I will be passing through. I will be making daily entries and video-blogging so you can see your donation in action! Thank you for your generous contribution and may you always have a tailwind as you fly through life!
