Vision Saving Technology

My daughter is a generous, compassionate young woman who is always there to help anyone in need. Last summer, she grew flowers and then took names of those who needed a bit of happiness. She made bouquets and delivered them for free to nursing home residents.  For the last 17 years, she has been fighting an eye disease which is slowly robbing her of her eyesight. Not only does the disease itself cause blind spots but the treatments have also caused complications resulting in nearly 50 eye surgeries/ procedures. The surface of her eye is now uneven making it impossible to utilize glasses to correct her vision. A new technology now makes it possible to have 3D printed contact lens which are her only hope for vision improvement. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover this. She is a self employed cosmetologist/single mother making it impossible for her to cover the cost on her own. If she does not work, of course, she has no income and she cannot do her job without her vision. The lens cost $2500 per eye and there is a fitting fee of $1000 per eye making the total for one pair at $7000. Traveling to fittings will necessitate being off work so I am asking for extra to cover her lost income and travel expenses. We would appreciate any contribution toward this which will allow her to continue being independent and able to support herself.
