This is Louie!
He is the bear cub that made national news as he was found sleeping in storage room behind the kitchen of a Louie's Pizza in Colorado Springs.
Louie had an injury to his rear left leg. Colorado Parks and Wildlife called us and we are rehabing Louie, and two other bear cubs, until they can be released into a den of their own (sometime in mid January).
This bear cub has captured the hearts of the community and some have asked how they can help with his rehabilitation.
It is rather expensive to feed these bears, and we've already received a number of donations from the customers of Louies Pizza. But, this way, the entire community can help.
