Volcano Eruption Relocation Assist

Help Prince Relocate! There is a Mandatory Evacuation in Effect Stemming from Massive Volcanic Eruptions and Earthquakes on Big Island Hawaii.

Aloha family, I am reaching out to you in an urgent time of need. You may have heard of the volcanic eruption here on Big Island Hawaii. Well, these eruptions spewing molten lava 230 feet into the air occurred only 2 miles from my home. The eruptions are several and occompanied by a multitude of near constant earthquakes (357 in one day!). The most powerful of these quakes - a 6.9 threw me across the room, crashed everything from counters, shelves and tables to the floor, shaking unpredictably for nearly a minute and nearly collapsed my home!

My neighborhood in kalapana and surrounding neighborhoods (Leilani, Opihikao) have all been evacuated by emergency responders. Lava is flowing through streets and many streets are cracking and burning. I have friends who have lost their homes to lava fire. I had been living off of the land - growing food and eating from the flourishing fruit trees on our farm. Praying to the water and sending love to humanity. After the big quake, I packed all i could safely do so into my car and fled to safety. I left much behind, however I do have my bass!!! :P At this moment, all paths to my home are blocked indefinitely due to lava and cracks in the road making them unsafe and un-drivable. If you are unfamiliar, all of Big Island is pretty much an active volcano. Mount Kilauea has been active with lava flowing at some rate since 1955.

We seem to be moving into an 'eruptive' cycle characterized by spontaneous breakouts and much destruction. The air is filled with toxic Sulfuric Acid which is a great risk! Needless to say my home is un-returnable, and in complete jeopardy. I send lots of love and prayers to all of my courageous Puna tribe, bold bright beings who choose to live a life of freedom, simplicity and connection to the land and to one another atop a magically active volcano - 'Pele'.

So, I made it to Kona side of the island with what I cherished most. Few clothes, toothbrush & music instruments! :) I have no money, no food or gas. Luckily, my family had recently travelled to mainland safely before the eruptions. I am looking forward to reuniting with them and I plan to rebuild & figure things out from there. I slept in my car last night as tsunami's could make camping on the beaches a bad idea. With no resources or housing, I need to get a plane ticket and fly out ASAP! For those of you on the mainland, I am looking forward to reconnecting and will likely be spending time in S. Florida really soon (and travel from there)! Without food, resources or shelter, I hope to raise $900 to get to safety ASAP. I'm packed!
