First full-time team
Donation protected
Do you believe in Europe? Do you believe in the need for a new voice in politics? If yes, now it is time to act!
Since the founding moment, our force has been that hundreds of volunteers drive our organization on a daily basis. We are now already 15.000 supporters across 32 countries. However, ahead of a campaign, Volt needs to take it to the next level, by having dedicated full time members working to shape the future, not be shaped by the past.
Thanks to your donations, the full timers started working on September 1st. This could have never happened without all of you! But, we are not fully there yet - we need more funds to keep the team active until the European Parliament Elections in May 2019.
A full-timer costs us around EUR 2,000, amounting to EUR 72.000 until the European Parliamentary elections (September to May). This is really just the core team. If we receive more funds, we will hire additional staff. Help us to grow the movement to more than 1 million people at the time of the election, such that we can win the 25 seats in the European Parliament next year.
Please participate to our crowdfunding campaign to support our first full-time team. We aim to reach 72,000 euros by the 1st of January 2019
Here is who we hired:
Colombe Cahen-Salvador as Policy Lead
Currently covering France and our Policy team, hiring Colombe (French) will enable us to continuously improve and develop our policy work and coordinate all our national chapters to ensure coherency across the continent. More importantly, it will ensure that we deliver on our promises once in Parliament.
Colombe is a human rights defender and a co-founder of Volt Europa. She wants to ensure that we change the way politics is done by proposing real solutions.
Help us hire Colombe until end of May to ensure that we bring forward groundbreaking policies that will change the future of Europe.
Valeria Bortă as Team Coordinator
Currently one of our European campaign leads, Valeria (Moldovan) provides our European and country teams with clear coordination, coherence, motivation and goals.
Valeria has a background in community organizing and has ensured that Volt functioned properly in the multiple positions she held.
Help us hire Valeria until end of May to ensure that Volt grows coherently across the continent and that we get at least 25 MEP seats!
Andrea Venzon as President
Currently in the role of President, Andrea (Italian) created our movement from the ground up. Leading by example, he inspired members to give everything and built teams in every corner of Europe. Hiring Andrea will enable him to take his great work up a notch. European Parliament, beware!
Andrea has a background in Public Administration and Project Management and is the founder of this movement.
Help us hire Andrea until end of May so that we can grow even stronger teams in all countries and increase our media presence.
Damian Boeselager as Fundraising
Currently in the role of the Vice President, Damian (German) is a co-founder of the movement. Hiring Damian will enable us to intensify our fundraising efforts to run successful fully-fledged campaigns across the continent.
Damian has a background in improving the public and social sector as a management consultant.
Help us hire Damian until end of May to ensure that we can actually run for the European Parliament in 2019!
