My name is Christopher Ramirez, I'm a 33 year old proud father of 3 and thankful husband of the most amazing wife. I'm born and raised in San Diego, CA and love to spend my free time enjoying the company of my loved ones. One of the most fulfilling things in my life is making those around me happy.
I was recently in a tragic car accident and lost the lower part of my left arm. The doctors tried to save my lower arm, but in order to save my life they had to remove it 6 centimeters below my elbow. Unfortunately I need my hands to succeed in my current profession and therefore I'm looking into prosthetic arms. Although, I won't need the prosthetic limb until I've finished physical therapy, I would like to be prepared now.
I will be starting physical therapy after after my third surgery on Febuary 26, 2016. The doctors say my therapy may last 3-6 months from when I begin. I'm in high spirits, healthy and extremely strong willed so I don't see it taking 6 months. Therefore, I would like to raise the money by July 1, 2016.
I want to put the least amount of strain on my family as possible with this situation. That being said, I feel this fund will do just that. Im so thankful that with this accident my arm was all that was lost. Things could be much worse and I'm greatful to be alive. Thank you so much for taking the time out to read this and opening your heart to my situation. I'm extremely greatful for everything even if I do not reach my goal.
