Total Loss...Fire Destroys Home

Hi everyone. My name is Michael Matthews, on Thursday March 24 at around 1:30AM my family lost everything theh have worked so hard for my entire life. We are so thankful that everyone is safe and there were no injuries. But my parents, little sister and my niece lost everything they owned. All of their clothes, furniture, my nieces bed, clothes and toys. All of the memories of our childhood, pictures, personal things of my grandfathers, my mother's wedding rings.. After battling the flames for 6 hours due to the wind my families home was a "TOTAL LOSS". They have lost everything. My grandmother and Aunt had just gotten there 2 nights before to visit for Easter and my little sister lives there as well with my 1year old niece. After getting everyone out my father tried to put the fire out with the garden hose but as the wind was blowing very hard it caught the flames. They had no fighting chance to save their home or anything in it. Within 20 minutes the house was completely engulfed. As they live between Portland and Gallatin it took responders 45 minutes to get there and put out the fire. There are also no fire hydrants on their road, which made it very difficult for them, having to drive away for refill their trucks with water. After 6 hours battling the flames, my family has nothing. I am setting up this account to raise money for both of my parents as well as my little sister and baby niece to try and rebuild their lives. To get clothes and shoes, food, toiletries and anything else they need during this most difficult time. Anything and everything donated goes straight to my parents and is so very much appreciated. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as they try to rebuild their lives. The most difficult thing for my mother losing all of her memories and everything that made her house her HOME.
