Steve Ferguson - Beating Cancer

In the ladder part of September, Steve admitted himself to the hospital as he had been having abdominal pain, a loss of appetite, and his body just overall did not feel right.  Following a chest x-ray, a mass was discovered in one of Steve's lungs.  At the time, it was unknown what the mass was, and a biopsy was recommended.  The results of the biopsy were revealed to Steve on October 3rd, at which time it was revealed that he had Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.  This came as an absolute shock to Steve, and all of his friends and family.  Steve had not smoked for over 20 years and he is only 45 years old!  Steve is in immense pain and currently able to perform only very light tasks in the work place (for those of you that do not know Steve's line of work, he is a Master Plumber).  We are trying to raise money for Steve to cover his medical expenses, cancer treatments, and keep his life in order while he is undergoing treatment.  It is unknown at this time how this cancer will be attacked, as we are unsure of the Stage.  It is quite possible that Steve may have to undergo surgery and may be unable to work for an extended period of time.  

Steve has 4 children, 3 of whom reside with him.  He is a single father and loves his kids.  He has been a long time friend and we want to do everything possible to ensure that Steve can fight this horrible disease and continue to support his family.
