The Begining
About a 6 years ago, I found a new love. It was, and still is called watercolor painting. From the moment I tried it, I was enraptured by its nature. I could paint wet and loose, or as tight as I wanted. I could lay down layer after transparent layer to build up deep rich paintings, or I could put on a single layer of paint, depending upon what my needs were. I could paint large or small paintings with either large or small brushes. And all this could be done with easy setup and easy clean up.
I've been telling people about the wonders of watercolors since shortly afte I started. I've heard all the negatives. It's too messy, it's too hard, it's too unforgiving, and I don't believe any of it. I love hearing all the complaints, because it give me an opportinity to get my paints out and explain about waterolors. I've begun to convert all my friends and family into believing that watercolors are awesome and that instead of being frustrating, they are fun, fun, fun.
I started my youtube channel in order to help others who have an interest in learning watercolros. I hope to bring learning, along with fun and a great attitude to painting watercolors.
Today
While my channel has met with more success than I had originally thought it would, I run tend to run it on a tight budget. I dind't realize when I got started that art is not cheap. I'm trying to upgrade my supplies when I can, while using up the cheaper, older supplies that I have.
How You Can Help
I am in need of a few "upgrades." I'm pretty frugal with money, and want to put everything I can into makeing videos to pass on my love for watercolor paintng and making it easier for everyone else to fall in love with it too. I need the support for supplies, and for the time I put into the making my videos.
What You Will Get
Anyone giving $10 or more will receive a hand painted thank you card (if you wish).
Thank you.
