As a Black Girls Code volunteer, I recently won a free ticket to CodeConf in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm a full-time college student studying Computer Science and Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley passionate about design, educational/music technology, reccommendation systems and supporting women in tech (Corinne Warnshuis of GirlDevelopIt will be there!).
I need a little help getting to Nashville to attend the conference. It'd be a great learning opportunity for me, as I am a young woman of color who is looking to up her game as a developer. In addition, I'm a co-organizer of Tequity, a student-led org at UC Berkeley focused on outreach and minority inclusion in the tech community. I'm looking to connect with inspiring engineers and mentors to help push our organization's mission.
